We also don't believe that businesses should be involved in these things, at least not to a deep level. It's fine to support employee-specific things that they wish to do in their free time or to offer paid time off to support their personal objectives; we simply don't think the company should be trying to drive things forward such as whether or not a person can or should drive a gas-powered vehicle.
